• Ryan graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, with a Master’s degree in theology with honors.During that time, he performed some clinical work at Baystate Hospital.
• He is ordained in the Christian Reformed Church denomination, and is currently pursuing recognition of his ordination in the ABC, USA.
• While at seminary, Ryan interned as a worship pastor and resident church planter for two years at a church plant in Danvers, MA.
• For three years, he and his wife Nikki had been planting a church (Manchester L.I.F.E.) in Manchester, NH. The primary focus was on community and discipleship, including specialties in small groups and spiritual formation. As the pastor and church planter, Ryan has been involved in the preaching, teaching, and counseling ministries of the church, as well as leadership development, vision casting, and outreach. Shortly after this time, Ryan joined Second Baptist Church in the Assistant Pastor role in August 2010.
• Ryan’s primary passions are for church growth through reaching unbelievers for Christ, deepening the paths of discipleship, and cultivating a deeper sense of community within the church.
• Starting in May 2011, Pastor Ryan assumed the role of Senior Pastor, with his father Pastor Don becoming Assistant Pastor. Both Pastors Ryan & Don are very excited about what the future holds for Second Baptist, and Ryan has much vision for the church!
